As Key Account Manager you will manage and develop Somfy’s business with industrial customers in Poland and take full ownership of the commercial performance of your key account portfolio.

As the single point of contact for your customers, you will build trust based partnerships at all levels of their organization, negotiate contracts and prices, initiate joint projects, anticipate customer needs and turn market insight into concrete business opportunities.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You will work closely with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Pricing, Supply Chain and Logistics, Customer Service, Quality and Finance, both locally and at Group level.

The role reports to the Managing Director BU Poland and works functionally with the Channel Leader Industrial Eastern Europe.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the commercial performance of your key account portfolio, including turnover, margin, profitability, volumes and other agreed KPIs.

  • Act as the single point of contact for your accounts and build deep relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Lead price negotiations, commercial offers, contracts and renewals and prepare customer analyses, budgets and commercial proposals.
  • Steer revenue and margin performance using the Sales Analytics Dashboards, monitor customer profitability and initiate corrective actions when required.
  • Deliver reliable sales forecasts and cooperate with Supply Chain and Customer Service on demand planning.
  • Monitor market trends, customer and competitor activity, technology and regulatory changes and translate insights into commercial actions.
  • Coordinate customer business reviews and lead local projects, ensuring clear action plans, follow up and progress tracking.
  • Use Salesforce CRM, Power BI dashboards and pricing tools to steer your business, document customer interactions and report on performance.

Your profile

  • Higher education in Business, Sales, Marketing or Engineering. Additional technical education is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or B2B sales of technical goods, solutions or components, preferably within the industrial or OEM sector.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and in building structured key account plans from scratch and executing them.
  • Experience in commercial negotiations and long sales cycles.
  • Experience in customer analysis, budget preparation and management of a portfolio of key accounts.
  • Business and customer acumen, with the ability to understand the customer’s business model and market dynamics and their impact on our joint business.

  • Financial literacy and a data-driven approach to decision making, based on revenue, margin and performance KPIs.
  • Consultative selling skills, with the ability to explore customer challenges through open dialogue and propose the right solutions.
  • Strong communication skills: you communicate with clarity and confidence, adapt your message to your audience and keep composure under pressure.
  • Multi-level stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
