We are looking for TWO energetic, relationship-driven Partner Success Specialists to join our growing team! A fully remote role with a location preference of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or the Gold Coast and a January 2027 start date. So enjoy your summer, recharge over the festive season and get ready to kick off the new year with an exciting career opportunity!
First, a little about us...
First Table is a global restaurant discovery and booking platform with a simple but brilliant idea: connecting diners with fantastic restaurants while helping venues fill tables that might otherwise sit empty.
Proudly established in Queenstown, New Zealand - where our head office is based - we've been leading the charge in the hospitality tech industry for over a decade, with operations spanning New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
We're a passionate, collaborative bunch who love good food, great ideas and people who aren't afraid to make things happen. Our values: Win-Win-Win, Own It and Grow Together aren't just words on a wall. They're how we work, support one another and celebrate success.
The opportunity
As a Partner Success Specialist, you'll be the person who helps our restaurant partners get the very best out of First Table. You'll build genuine relationships, understand their challenges, spot opportunities and work alongside them to make their businesses even more successful.
We are looking for people who are curious, proactive and commercially minded. Someone who enjoys getting to know people, asking great questions and finding solutions that make a real difference.
You'll be part of a supportive, multi-skilled team managing a shared portfolio of restaurant partners, with opportunities to develop your own areas of expertise as you grow.
What you’ll be doing
- Building brilliant partnerships: Develop trusted relationships with restaurant partners, understanding their businesses, goals and challenges.
- Making things happen: Proactively connect with restaurants, identify opportunities and help them improve bookings, availability and overall performance.
- Turning insights into action: Use booking trends and partner data to uncover opportunities and recommend practical improvements.
- Being a problem solver: Navigate challenges, manage partner enquiries and work collaboratively to find solutions that stick.
- Helping partners thrive: Identify potential risks early, strengthen engagement and support long-term partner retention.
- Owning your outcomes: Take initiative, follow things through and make a genuine impact on the success of our restaurant community.
A little about you
You're a natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys connecting with people. You bring energy to conversations, aren't afraid to pick up the phone and love the satisfaction of turning a challenge into a positive outcome.
You'll ideally bring
- At least 2 years' experience in account management or a similar relationship-focused role.
- Confidence communicating with different personalities, building trust and having those sometimes-tricky conversations.
- A proactive mindset, you don't wait to be told what needs doing; you spot opportunities and take action.
- Commercial curiosity and an interest in understanding what helps businesses succeed.
- A collaborative attitude, adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new tools and ways of working.
Experience in hospitality, restaurant technology, marketplaces or SaaS would be fantastic, but it's not essential.
Why you'll love First Table
There's a lot to love about being part of First Table, and we're excited to offer:
- Fully remote working: Work from home with the flexibility and autonomy to do your best work.
- A January 2027 start: Enjoy the festive season and summer holidays before diving into your next adventure.
- A growing international business: Join a company making a real difference to restaurants and diners across multiple countries.
- A supportive, collaborative team: Work alongside people who share ideas, back each other and genuinely want everyone to succeed.
- Ownership and opportunity: Bring your ideas, take initiative and have a real say in how we continue to grow.
- Learning and development: Build your skills across partner relationships, commercial performance, data and emerging technology.
- A product you can feel good about: Help local restaurants thrive while making memorable dining experiences more accessible.
