We partner closely with Commercial Field Sales, Architecture Strategy Leads, and channel ecosystems to embed payment-over-time models and structured product financing directly into Cisco’s core sales plays, helping customers bridge technological needs and budgetary constraints.

The Role

As a Capital Sales Specialist for Small and Medium Business (SMB) and Mid-Market (MM) across EMEA, you will drive the expansion of Cisco Capital financing penetration. Combining deals acceleration with Go-to-Market (GTM) integration, you will embed multi-year bundled payment solutions – spanning hardware, software Enterprise Agreements (EAs), and Customer Experience (CX) services – directly into regional sales motions. You will serve as the strategic bridge connecting Cisco Field Sales, Architecture Leads, and external financing partners.

Your Responsibilities

  • Commercial Sales Acceleration: Own and implement the Cisco Capital business development strategy for Commercial, Mid-Market, and SMB accounts across EMEA, accelerating financing attach rates and volume growth.
  • Multi-Year Bundled Solutions: Drive adoption of structured product financing, Payment-Over-Time, and Cisco Lifecycle Pay solutions that integrate Hardware, Software Subscriptions, and CX Services into unified customer proposals.
  • GTM & Architecture Alignment: Partner with Cisco Strategy Leads and Architecture Teams (Networking, Security, Collaboration, Cloud/Compute) to embed financing solutions into standard sales plays and campaigns.
  • Partner Ecosystem & Channel Collaboration: Work in close lockstep with the dedicated Cisco Capital Partner Organization to support co-selling, deal structuring, and programmatic financing adoption across key Distributors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and Value-Added Resellers.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting Governance: Maintain pipeline hygiene in Salesforce (CRM), deliver accurate forecasting, and conduct deep-dive business reviews on penetration trends with regional commercial leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of successful professional experience in IT vendor financing, commercial leasing, enterprise technology sales, or FinTech solutions.
  • Consistent track record in structuring, negotiating, and closing technology financing deals across Commercial, Mid-Market, or SMB customer segments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of modern IT consumption models, including Everything as a Service (XaaS), Software Subscriptions, Enterprise Agreements (EAs), and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) / ROI modeling.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, commercial negotiation, and executive presentation skills with professional English fluency.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working within a global technology vendor, major Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or international financial leasing institution.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with channel partner ecosystems, Tier 1/Tier 2 Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and distributors.
  • Proficiency using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms (e.g., Salesforce), sales intelligence tools, and AI-powered sales assistants.
  • Foundational understanding of Cisco’s core architectures (Networking, Cybersecurity, Collaboration, and Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Professional working proficiency in an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Spanish, or Dutch).
