Help insurance agency owners and their teams turn potential into stronger sales results.
Farmers Insurance District 40 is seeking an experienced, licensed insurance professional to coach agency teams, improve sales processes, and support growth across 76+ agencies within the state of Michigan.
You’ll work directly with agency owners and producers to identify opportunities, solve sales challenges, and build consistent habits that improve performance. Your impact will come through the teams you develop rather than managing a personal book of business.
What We Offer
- Annual salary of $60,000–$90,000.
- Paid time off
- Health insurance
- Group dental and vision plans
- Monday–Friday work schedule
- Ongoing training and professional development
- The opportunity to shape sales training and growth initiatives across an award-winning district
What You’ll Do
- Coach agency teams: Deliver virtual and in-person coaching on prospecting, client conversations, follow-up, objection handling, and closing.
- Turn data into action: Review sales and activity reports to identify gaps and help agencies implement specific improvements.
- Strengthen sales processes: Help teams build consistent routines for quoting, cross-selling, pipeline management, and accountability.
- Lead training initiatives: Create and deliver workshops, sales campaigns, and contests based on agency needs.
- Support measurable growth: Partner with agency owners to set goals, monitor progress, and adjust strategies when results fall short.
- Share successful practices: Help agencies learn from one another and apply approaches that produce results.
What You’ll Bring
- Insurance industry experience with demonstrated sales results.
- An active Michigan Property and Casualty insurance license.
- A Life and Health insurance license, or willingness to obtain it after employment begins.
- A strong understanding of insurance sales and agency operations.
- The ability to coach others, provide constructive feedback, and influence results without direct supervisory authority.
- Strong organization, initiative, and follow-through while supporting multiple agencies.
- Willingness to expand your expertise across Personal Lines, Life, and Commercial insurance, with training provided.
Experience training producers, leading a sales team, or improving agency performance is especially valuable.
