This leader will oversee a team of Account Executives responsible for acquiring new customers, expanding strategic relationships, and retaining existing business across H1's healthcare data and technology solutions.
This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced SaaS sales operator who thrives on building high-performing teams, establishing scalable sales processes, and bringing structure and predictability to complex sales environments. You'll combine strong commercial judgment with operational discipline, ensuring your team has the strategy, coaching, and tools needed to consistently deliver results.
The RVP will report to Chris Gardella, who leads Sales for Health Plans, Technology, Health Systems, and Government.
You will
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers and Account Executives, driving accountability, consistent execution, and performance across new business, expansion, and renewals.
- Establish and maintain a disciplined sales operating cadence, including pipeline reviews, deal inspections, forecasting, and territory planning to improve visibility, predictability, and revenue performance.
- Own team-level revenue forecasting and pipeline management, ensuring accurate projections, CRM hygiene, and proactive identification of risks and opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies across health plans, payers, and technology organizations, navigating complex buying committees, procurement processes, and long sales cycles.
- Provide hands-on deal strategy and executive-level support for complex opportunities, coaching sellers through stakeholder engagement, negotiations, and deal progression.
- Build repeatable account planning and expansion strategies that strengthen customer relationships, identify whitespace, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Partner closely with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to improve the customer lifecycle, strengthen GTM execution, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Identify opportunities to optimize sales processes, improve team productivity, and implement scalable practices that support H1's continued growth.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent, building a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

You bring credibility and confidence when engaging stakeholders across Clinical Operations and Study Feasibility functions. You understand the pressures these teams face, from finding qualified sites and investigators to predicting enrollment, planning for diversity requirements, and avoiding trial delays. You are skilled at building relationships across multiple layers of an organization, uncovering expansion opportunities, and managing complex accounts with rigor and care.
REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrated expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline management, CRM discipline, and establishing repeatable sales processes that improve predictability and performance.
- Experience coaching and developing sellers, with the ability to identify performance gaps, provide actionable guidance, and support complex deal execution.
- An operator's mindset: highly organized, analytical, and process-oriented, with a track record of improving sales execution and driving accountability across a team.
- Experience operating in a high-growth or scaling organization, with the ability to introduce structure and operational discipline while adapting to evolving business needs.
- Strong executive presence, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Revenue Operations.
