About CaptiveAire

CaptiveAire has no separate rep force: the person who sells its kitchen hoods, fans, ductwork and Paragon HVAC units is an engineer working out of one of its more than 125 sales and engineering offices in North America. Thirty of its 40 sales-titled openings are technical sales and field service engineers who quote, prepare submittals, run demos and presentations for users in their own market, then go to job sites to troubleshoot, help contractors with wiring and talk kitchen staff through problems remotely; six more are technical inside sales engineers doing the same applications and quoting work from the office without the field service. Both seats start with formal training under a mentor and are asked to grow existing customers as well as open new ones. Of the 40, 36 are in the US, with Florida (7), California (6) and Texas (4) holding the most, plus three in Canada (Ottawa, Saskatoon, Mississauga) and one in Monterrey, Mexico. The rest are two sales administrative assistants in Tampa and Bethesda and two part-time fall internships in Tampa and Mississauga for mechanical or construction students graduating by May 2027.

Job seekers never pay to use this board. An Apply button opens the employer's own application page, or the page of the recruiting firm filling the seat; only where a company or its recruiting firm pays us for a hire who came from here does that link carry our referral code, and the fee comes from them, never out of the base or OTE the role offers you.
