Farha's commercial sellers go after low-slope roofing work from property managers, asset managers, REITs, insurance professionals, general contractors and facility managers, and each of them runs the jobs they win: once a contract is signed they coordinate estimators, crews and vendors and own the budget, schedule, paperwork and collections until the roof is done. Five of its six sales openings are that combined commercial sales and project manager seat, each asking for five or more years in commercial low-slope roofing: Kansas City, Denver, Phoenix and two in St. Louis, one of the St. Louis seats a senior business development version for a seller who arrives with a network of commercial decision-makers. The sixth is a residential sales and project manager in Phoenix who finds homeowners by canvassing and referrals, gets on the roof to inspect it, presents repair or replacement options and stays with the job through change orders and final payment. Pay runs on an open-book model, so a rep can check every job and the commission on it at any time.
