Inspire's US field team works both ends of a referral chain for its implanted sleep apnea device: getting patients identified by the doctors who first see them, and getting implanting centers to treat them. Forty of its 57 sales openings, seven in ten, are Therapy Development Representatives, who report to a Regional Manager and spend the week on a planned call sequence with primary care, internal medicine and cardiology practices, plus community education events and peer-to-peer physician programs, to build referrals into a territory. Twelve Territory Managers carry the quota: they select and open commercial implant sites, cover implant and follow-up cases, keep centers on the patient selection guidelines, work local payer education and feed the direct-to-patient outreach run with marketing. Two Associate Territory Managers in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Manchester, New Hampshire give clinical and account coverage so territory managers get more selling time, and the remaining three are pricing and sales enablement roles at the Minneapolis headquarters. Every opening is in the US, with field territories across 30 states and Washington, DC, Texas and Florida leading at five each.
