Job Description
Accelerator, a global Division of Mars Snacking, is on the front line of unlocking growth across high-potential categories and brands to fuel what’s next for Snacking. It’s home to both emerging and enduring brands, including KIND, TRÜ FRÜ, NATURE’S BAKERY, RXBAR, EGGO, POP-TARTS and RICE KRISPIE TREATS. Combining the scale of Mars with the agility of a start-up, our Division has the ambition to accelerate the future of snacking by delivering products consumers love today, discovering category-shaping innovations for tomorrow and developing entrepreneurial teams whose impact will last for generations.
We’re looking for passionate talent who dare to dream big, agile collaborators who talk straight and decide fast, and driven performers with a growth mindset. We’re proudly part of Mars, while also building something boldly different. If this inspires and energizes you, you’ve found the right place where you can do cool things with fun people for one of the biggest snacking companies in the world!
Job Purpose
As the Accelerator Division continues to scale and integrate within the broader Mars Snacking segment, the Sale Technology Lead role will drive the strategic technology enablement and technical ownership of our Sales capabilities.
Reporting directly to the Sr. Director Digital Technology, the Lead will own the Sales technology strategy, architect the operating model, and oversee the product lifecycle for critical platforms such as Trade Promotion Management (Salesforce TPM) and Retail Execution (Salesforce Rex).
The role acts as the primary Sales Tech authority for the division, translating global enterprise architectures into high-impact, nimble deployments tailored for Accelerator brands (e.g., KIND, Nature's Bakery, Tru Fru ). This professional must be a highly collaborative technical leader who can balance strategic alignment with the "hands-on" agility required to prototype and configure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Technology Strategy & ship: Own the master Sales DT roadmap and lead the design, operating model, and rollout of critical capabilities, with absolute technical ownership of Salesforce TPM (Trade Promotion Management) and Salesforce Rex (Retail Execution).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the chief technical liaison to the Sales Leads across each individual Business Unit (BU) and within the centralized Accelerator Division. Effectively translate commercial goals into actionable technical requirements.
- Global-to-Local Product Liaison: Collaborate closely with the global product, architecture, and deployment teams to ensure the optimal, right-sized Snacking products are introduced and configured to support Accelerator's speed-to-market and agility needs.
- Hands-on Integrated Delivery & Configuration: Actively participate in the end-to-end delivery lifecycle by conducting technical prototyping, testing workflows, establishing environment configurations, and troubleshooting data integrations - maintaining high technical agility alongside program leadership.
- Advanced Analytics & Tool Integration: Oversee the technical deployment of established digital commerce, category management, and sales intelligence tools as defined by the approved Accelerator Roadmap (including Commerce IQ, Nielsen IQ / Circana, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud), ensuring unified reporting.

Education & Professional Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- Technical Deep Dive: Advanced, hands-on knowledge of Salesforce TPM (Trade Promotion Management) and Salesforce Rex (Retail Execution) is highly preferred.
- Commercial Tech Stack Expertise: Proven familiarity with the Sales roadmap's specified systems:
Commerce IQ, Nielsen IQ / Circana, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and B2B Commerce platforms.
- AI for Sales (Plus): Practical understanding of AI-driven tools that support sales teams (e.g., predictive ordering, sales routing optimization, and automated retail execution insights).
- Balanced Technical Agility: Demonstrated capability to coordinate global technical teams while possessing the skills to dive into functional configuration, system prototyping, and data modeling yourself.
