What a Zayo seller carries is capacity on its own 141,000-mile fiber network: dark fiber, wavelengths, Ethernet, private networks and dedicated internet access, with SD-WAN, edge, security, Wi-Fi, voice and managed services added for enterprise and public sector buyers. About a third of its 71 sales openings are customer account managers, a post-sale seat that owns renewals, churn and recurring revenue for hyperscalers and the largest carriers, federal civilian agencies or state, local and education (SLED) accounts. Public sector is the biggest selling segment, with a third of all titles naming SLED or federal: senior account managers and account directors assigned by state, a growth markets rep working K-12, college and local government accounts in a high-volume virtual motion, and a principal sales director over the SLED team.
