About Clearstory
Clearstory moves the change order trail of commercial construction, kept on paper tickets, spreadsheets and email, into one log shared by the general contractor, its subcontractors and the owner; it says more than half of ENR's Top 50 GCs use it and over $2 billion in change order requests runs through it every month. Selling is split by which side of the contract the buyer sits on, general contractor or specialty contractor, and by account size, so the four AE seats open are an enterprise and a mid-market AE for each, every one a full-cycle hunter role that asks for time as a contractor's project manager handling costs and change orders rather than a SaaS sales record. A single SDR role, posted for the Bay Area, Boston and New York, books meetings off inbound and outbound calls and email and wants two years on the change order process in commercial construction. After the sale, a senior director of customer success is wanted to run 12 CSMs split across the same two segments, report to the CRO and carry gross and net retention, and two CSM seats are open for specialty contractor accounts, one of them enterprise. The other six postings are one enablement specialist role, building training content for the AEs and SDRs, listed in Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Utah, Oregon and Idaho. All 16 are US positions, and the company describes itself as a Series B business of about 100 people based in San Francisco with a distributed team.

Job seekers never pay to use this board. An Apply button opens the employer's own application page, or the page of the recruiting firm filling the seat; only where a company or its recruiting firm pays us for a hire who came from here does that link carry our referral code, and the fee comes from them, never out of the base or OTE the role offers you.

Only the SDR posting names a figure, $70,000 to $100,000 a year depending on experience, without saying how much of it is commission. The AE, customer success and enablement postings promise a competitive market-rate salary for a Series B company (a few older ones still say Series A) and print no base, OTE or commission plan; the senior director posting sizes the retention number it carries by company ARR, $10 million to $50 million.
