About Yell
Yell's sellers sign up UK tradespeople, shops and other owner-run firms for managed digital marketing: websites, SEO, pay-per-click, social, video, review management and a Yell.com listing, plus a newer AI line (an AI receptionist, automated blog posts and review replies, and an AI marketing manager). Nearly the whole board is one job: 70 of its 82 sales openings are field business development managers, each tied to a town or patch, who hunt from their own and company-supplied leads, close face to face or on video, and then look after the account for up to 12 months after the sale. Above them sit the account seats that keep and grow spend: 3 senior account managers for Bristol and South Wales holding mid-spend clients (£5,000 to £12,000 a year each, about £1 million in all) and a digital account director for Yorkshire, listed in Sheffield, Leeds and York, whose clients spend £8,000 to £70,000 a year and who coaches the local BDMs. The telesales channel is small and run from Belfast: 4 new business sales executives (three in the Belfast area, one remote), a telesales account manager and a team manager. Every opening is in the UK, and the field map leans north-west: 25 sit in Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire, 12 each in the South West and in London and the South East, 10 each in the Midlands and Wales, 5 in Northern Ireland and 4 in Yorkshire.
