Elanco runs two sales forces with very different buyers: Pet Health veterinary reps own a territory of clinics and corporate hospital groups and steer the distributor reps who carry Elanco products there, while Farm Animal reps call on dairy and beef producers, veterinarians, nutritionists, feed companies, retailers and distributors with parasiticides, insecticides, feed additives and nutritional health products such as Dairy Relieve. In the US, seven of its 15 sales openings are Pet Health vet rep territories (Little Rock, Lexington, Everett, Ventura, Portland and two in Asheville), four are Farm Animal field roles (a Southeast dairy account manager who doubles as cow health specialist, an Indiana and Ohio cow health specialist who onboards herds over their first 90 days, a senior insecticides rep and a fixed-term retail rep), three are paid summer 2027 internships, and one is a business development director in Indianapolis who works acquisitions and licensing deals. The other 35 openings, seven in ten of the total, are abroad: the UK has four territory business managers for companion animal practices and dairy farms plus a solution architect, South Africa four roles from retail key accounts to the head of ruminant sales, Australia, India and Spain three each (Madrid's inside pet health rep among them). The rest are spread over swine, poultry and gut health key accounts in the Netherlands and Belgium, a livestock rep and a pet health national accounts role in Japan, two livestock reps in western Canada, and single seats in Indonesia, Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, Poland, Hungary, New Zealand and the DACH region.
