Manchester Tank holds four of the openings: a vice president of sales and an associate sales manager in Franklin, Tennessee, and two remote regional sales managers (East and West) who travel to propane marketers and distributors to sell new, used and refurbished LPG tanks. M&H Valve has one territory sales manager seat for Ohio, West Virginia and Michigan, posted in five cities (Dayton, Columbus, Detroit, Lansing, Charleston), that sells hydrants and valves through the waterworks distributor base to municipalities and engineers, and the rep has to live in the territory or move there. Tyler Union, the ductile iron fittings foundry in Anniston, Alabama, wants a sales engineer to call on the top 50 utilities and specifying engineers in a region running from Oklahoma and Texas to Southern California and Hawaii, plus a Riverside, California sales trainee who learns the business at the foundry before taking an open territory. Clow Valve has two remote field sales engineers for its iHydrant product (one for the Northeast from Maine to Maryland, one for Arizona) who demo it, shape hydrant specifications and run deployments with 75% travel, and the new McWane Plant and Industrial division hires an on-site inside sales representative in Birmingham. All 14 openings are in the US.
