About Sotheby's
Selling at Sotheby's means one of two jobs: winning property from collectors to sell at auction or privately, or selling the Sotheby's name to other brands. On the property side, Wines & Spirits wants a Head of Auction Sales for the Americas who secures consignments against a personal revenue target, gives estimates, inspects cellars and hosts clients at tastings and dinners, plus an early-career Associate Specialist who sells fixed-price bottles by email, phone and in person and works selected Saturdays in the retail store; the Luxury division is hiring a Head of Private Sales for Watches to originate and close private deals with collectors, dealers and advisors, advertised in both Switzerland and London. The Brand Partnerships team, reporting to a Global Head of Partnerships in New York, sells custom marketing deals across digital and print media, events and commerce to luxury, technology, finance, automotive, hospitality, real estate and travel brands, and has two seats open: a senior manager focused on carmakers and a partnership development manager, both prospecting, pitching, negotiating and owning the contract and invoice. The remaining two are support seats, a business operations manager who runs valuations and private sales workflow for Impressionist and Modern art, and a strategy and operations manager inside Global Business Development, the group rebuilding the technology and data behind client coverage. Six of the eight sales openings are in New York, from a board of 62 postings.

Job seekers never pay to use this board. An Apply button opens the employer's own application page, or the page of the recruiting firm filling the seat; only where a company or its recruiting firm pays us for a hire who came from here does that link carry our referral code, and the fee comes from them, never out of the base or OTE the role offers you.
