About AFRY
AFRY's sellers bring in engineering and advisory work (feasibility and due diligence studies, design, project delivery, automation upgrades) from utilities, independent power producers, pulp and paper mills, process plants and energy developers. The open seats show how that is organised: selling sits with senior people inside each business line, who report to a division or country head and sell alongside the discipline leads and engineers who will deliver the work. Four of the seven sales-titled postings are seller seats, and they come down to three jobs: a Sales Director in Bangkok who owns order intake, margin and the forecast across Asia-Pacific for Smart Services & Solutions (the Balance+ advanced automation offer, backed by a competence center in Finland) and lines up control system vendors and EPC contractors as partners; a newly created Head of Sales for AFRY Industry in Norway, a leadership team seat that ties together selling across about 200 staff serving industry, food, life science and defence clients; and a dual-seller consultant for LNG and green fuels in Southeast Asia, posted in both Bangkok and Singapore, who needs 15 years in the industry and wins developers, operators and financiers while still writing the technical reports. Two more, in Makati and Manila, evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, draft their contracts and log variation orders for a transmission and distribution project, which is procurement rather than selling, and the seventh is a student thesis in Uppsala on software-defined radio. None of the seven is in the US: five are in Southeast Asia, one in Norway and one in Sweden.

Pay at AFRY
Stated by the company, checked 2026-10-30From our research: stated by the company, checked 2026-10-30
None of the seven postings names a figure in any currency. The Bangkok sales director is offered a competitive salary package and nothing more specific, the LNG and green fuels consultant an attractive salary set by experience and qualifications plus performance-based incentives, and the Norwegian Head of Sales posting and the two Manila-area bids postings say nothing about pay.
