About Digimarc
Digimarc (Nasdaq: DMRC) sells identification and authentication built on digital watermarking, fingerprinting and cryptography, applied to anti-counterfeiting, gift card and product swap fraud at the checkout, leak and piracy detection, content provenance and plastics recycling, and used by central banks against currency counterfeiting for more than 20 years. Its sellers work two segments, Retail and Key Industries, and the six openings rebuild that floor from the top: a vice president of sales for North America, reporting to the CRO, who owns new-business bookings and ARR across the key industries, and a vice president of solutions who will fold presales solution engineering, professional services and value engineering into one team that carries a number. Under them are two senior enterprise AEs on bounded named-account lists, one in the key industries selling SDKs, APIs and embedded software alongside SIs and hardware and firmware partners, the other on major retailers, where the buying committee runs from loss prevention and asset protection through store operations, IT and merchandising and deals grow from a pilot into a chain-wide rollout. Each AE carries the whole patch as one number (new logos, inbound qualified with an SDR, and every upsell and cross-sell in the installed base), runs MEDDPICC on every deal, calls a weekly forecast inside a 13-week cadence and needs ten-plus years selling to the Fortune 500. A senior renewal rep under the director of revenue operations holds the renewal number on about 30 accounts worth $10,000 to $1 million a year each, usage-based true-ups included, and a BDR who reports to marketing qualifies outbound pipeline for the watermarking products before handing it to the AEs.
