Do I need a FINRA or insurance license?
Only to sell a financial product itself. A securities seat names its FINRA exams (Series 7, 63, 65 or 66) and an insurance producer seat a state license, usually earned in the first months with the employer paying. Selling software or services to banks and insurers takes no license; those postings ask for time spent selling to that buyer. What is selling into financial services like?
